Veterans Day Program in Phelps

The School District of Phelps will be honoring our veterans during a Veterans Day Program coordinated by Kevin Grafwallner on Friday, November 12 at 10:30 am in the school’s big gym.  The program will include a variety of student musical performances, under the direction of music teacher, Lisa Duquaine. Poems and speeches will be presented by Phelps Student Council members.  Members of the Land O’ Lakes VFW will be presenting and retiring the colors. The program’s guest speaker will be Vilas County Veterans Service Officer Brian Thomas, an Air Force veteran.  The program is open to community members and local veterans. Following the program, all community members in attendance are invited to a free lunch provided by the school.
